Well the truck has come and gone, the boxes have been embarked and disembarked, couches dismantled and remantled and so forth.
We have now up and gone from temperate Brunswick West, 3055, to the more tropical climes of Kingsville, 3012.
Back to where it all began. (for me anyway). I was born not a stones throw away from my my new house, at the Western General Hospital. Ah, the petro-chem smell of the inner West! The sandy beaches of Coode Island, the sparkling water of the Maribyrnong River, the majesty of the West Gate Bridge!
No longer shall I ride the Number 55 through Royal Park and past the Zoo. I shall miss the old-world quaintness of trams but now it is the Williamstown Line for me! Trains, that is the transport for a 21st Century fellow!
Oh, and they say that there are only two certainty's in life - Death and Taxes. Another is moving is a horrible experience.

To continue the 'boxing' theme...
You don't realise how much crap you have accumulated until you have to put it into boxes....

When We Were Kings(ville)
Well the property buy market here has become way too hot. House prices are rising at an amazing rate, even with 5 straight interest rate rises. Word is that home loan rates will be at 9% during 2008!
With that we have decided to move and rent a larger house in the Melbourne inner suburb of Kingsville. (hence the witty play on words for this blog. :p)
